In the heart of Dingwall, we collaborated with Capstone Construction, and Albyn Housing Association to bring this social housing project to fruition. The project, located in Castlepark on Tulloch Castle Drive, involved the delivery of a 37-unit social housing development that includes a mix of terraced villas, semi-detached villas and bungalows, and a detached villa.

Using our top-tier timber frame kit, we constructed external walls with timber runners and studs, faced with OSB and breather paper, and thick insulation. The interior partitions, constructed with timber framing and sound insulation, combined with pre-finished external doors and PVC-U windows for optimal energy efficiency. The roofs, made with our contractor’s design timber trusses, were adorned with concrete roof tiles. All homes were installed with photovoltaic panels and a gas central heating system, incorporating a combi boiler.

Our role was critical in ensuring the timber frame housing units were designed and constructed to the highest standard of quality and sustainability, aligning with both Albyn Housing Association’s vision and Capstone Construction’s expertise.
